i think anderson had a little trouble in this fight probably cuz he didnt train very hard. Think about it his last few fights before this were pretty easy wins he probably felt that he didnt need to work as hard since hes so good. His cockiness prolly brought him down a little, now hes gonna train his heart out and destroy chael sonnen

Silva didn't expect to get hit standing up, that's the thing. Maybe the rest of the punches weren't that hard, but Silva got caught slack-jawed when Sonnen threw that left in the first. I also don't think there'd be much argument at all if after those first four rounds, Sliva knocked Sonnen out with a kick to the face, or an elbow to wherever. It would have been considered a done deal. Just like Ali won in Zaire. Silva won that first fight period.

I think Sonnen has a chance if he can get Silva to the ground again, maybe. The problem is he can't hit Silva hard enough to knock him out, or really even faze him. That's another thing to consider. I mean what's he got left that he didn't throw? And Silva's got a lot he didn't throw.

I don't get it?why this fight put doubts on Silva's skills?taking punches is as important as dodging them,defending when you're on your back is as important as being able to do ground and pound when you're on top.Sonnen is good, i'll give you that especially his fight with Stann and he has all the right to ask Silva for a rematch but he better be careful.Silva isn't that kind of fighter who stays at a certain level, he learns from his mistakes.and saying something about his wife is not the best thing one should do when you want a fight with Silva, or anyone else.

If it was the old UFC where there were no rounds and no referee to call stand ups Sonnen would have had even more of an advantage. A little work on triangle defense and Sonnen will be back. Fantastic fight by Sonnen. Balls to the walls. Loved it.
